Intended use
 The Trichomonas Vaginalis (T.V) rapidtest of JD Corp. is a qualitative assay which detects Trichomonasvaginalis antigen by color immunochromatographic technology.
 
Brief introduction
 
Trichomonas Vaginalis is the mostcommon nonviral sexually transmitted infection (STI) globally and inthe United States. T. vaginalis infection has been associated withadverse pregnancy outcomes and with increased human immunodeficiencyvirus (HIV) shedding in women infected with both Trichomonas vaginalisand HIV. 
 
Specificity of JD's TV rapid test
 
For the first time in the world, thereis a now rapid test to determine the prevalence of Trichomonasvaginalis (T.V) in a sample of women, with or without symptoms ofvaginitis.The test procedure requires the extraction of T.V secretedprotein from vaginal swab taken from patient. The TV strip is thenplaced in extraction mixture and mixture migrated along the membranesurface.
