  • Rapid Infectious Disease Dengue Rapid Test Kits

    INTENDED USE
    Rapid Dengue Test is a rapid immunochromatographic assay for the simultaneousdetection of IgG and IgM antibodies to Dengue virus in human whole blood, serum or plasma. The assay is used as a screening test for Dengue viral infection and as an aid for differential diagnosis of primary and secondary infections in conjunction with other criteria.
     
    PERFORMANCE CHARACETERISTICS
    1. Accuracy
    A panel of 60 positive and 40 negative patient sera was tested with a reference rapid Dengue Test, Dengue Duo Cassette (Panbio, Australia). The results are summarized in the following table. The agreement is 100%.

    INTENDED USE
    Fecal Occult Blood (FOB) Rapid Test is rapid, self performing, qualitative, two site sandwich immunoassays for the determination of human blood hemoglobin in fecal samples. This test is intended as an aid in the diagnosis of lower gastrointestinal (g.i.) disorders. The test is for professional use only.
    PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
    Sensitivity
    A sample containing human hemoglobin at concentration equal to or higher than 100 ng/ml produces a positive result. In some cases sample containing human hemoglobin at concentrations less than 100 ng/ml can also be tested as positive.
    Prozone effect: sample containing as high as 0.5 mg/ml hemoglobin can still test positive.
    Specificity
    The FOB Test is specific for human hemoglobin and does not show any cross-reaction with the hemoglobin from bovine, pig, rabbit, horse and sheep concentrations up to 0.5 mg/ml.
    The FOB Test also do not show any cross reaction with billirubin, vitamin C and horse radish peroxidase.
