 1)Cold compress: Put the cold/hot pad into freezer to be refrigerated for half an hour before taking out for use.
2)Hot compress: Put the cold/hot pad directly into hot water (not boiling water) for 5-10 minutes before taking out for use. Or put the cold/hot pad into a pan with water, then put into the microwave oven to be warmed for 30-60 seconds before taking out for use.
